still sketching

i'm still sketching in the gold tipped sketchbook. here's a recent addition.

it has been a little tricky to keep up the motivation to sketch in here as the days begin to develop projects and problems, filling up with the momentum each new year brings after grinding to a wonderfully quiet halt for a few days at the very end of each year.

But as the pace picks back up, and my schedule becomes overpopulated, I am trying to remember the inspiring, blank-slate feeling that the new year and this new sketch book brought to me. And to find time each day to tap into that feeling and get creative.
